La cittadina di Cupra Marittima si svolge sulla costa della Riviera Adriatica e ha una parte di territorio che sale la collina, Cupra Alta.
La sua posizione sul mare permette, soprattutto d’estate, grossi flussi di turismo attratti dalla possibilità di villeggiare in una cittadina poco caotica. Dall’aspetto grazioso, Cupra presenta un piccolo centro con scalinate e fontana, una piazza in travertino, un lungomare con pista ciclabile, una parte alta, Sant’Andrea con la Rocca, Marano e Boccabianca. La spiaggia di sabbia è ben organizzata con chalet e ristoranti che offrono un’ottima cucina di mare. Quasi senza sosta, la pista ciclabile ospita passeggiatori e sportivi che possono sbizzarrirsi sui 6 chilometri di percorrenza che congiungono alla pista ciclabile successiva di Grottammare.
La posizione del territorio è strategica, infatti si può raggiungere la bellissima città di Ascoli Piceno in circa mezzora, ci si può internare per visitare le altre belle città storiche delle Marche come Offida, Fermo, la città panoramica di Ripatransone e i molti altri paesi caratteristici collinari come Montefiore dell’Aso, Monterubbiano, Acquaviva Picena.
Vi sono numerosi hotel a Cupra Marittima, premiata con la bandiera blu per il mare pulito. Essa si affianca ad altre cittadine marittime come a nord Pedaso e Porto San Giorgio e a sud Grottammare e San Benedetto del Tronto.

The town of Cupra Marittima takes place on the coastline of the Adriatic Coast and has a piece of land that goes up the hill, named “Cupra Alta”. Its location on the sea permits, especially in summer, large flows of tourism attracted by the beauty and calm that is not present in large cities.
Lovely looking , Cupra has a small center with fountain and stairs , a square travertine. There is a waterfront bike path always populated. In the part of the high country there are the “Rocca di Sant’Andrea”, “Marano” and “Boccabianca” which are the three hills of Cupra. The sandy beach is well organized with chalets and restaurants that offer excellent seafood. Almost without stopping, the bike path allows walkers and sportsmen to walk up to Grottammare.
It has a strategic position even because you can reach the beautiful city of Ascoli Piceno in about half an hour, and you can intern for exploring other beautiful historic towns of the Marches as Offida , Fermo, the panoramic town of Ripatransone and many other countries or characteristic hilly as Montefiore dell’Aso , Monterubbiano , Acquaviva Picena. There are numerous hotels in Cupra Marittima , awarded with a “Blue Flag” for its clean sea . It is near the other cities of the coast at north there are Pedaso, Porto San Giorgio and to the sud there are Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto.
